Y’all, somehow it is already December! As we enter this month and are fully in the swing of the Holiday season, I want to start sharing more of my favorite shops for unique and meaningful gifts. And what better way to kick off the month, than with a perfectly customized gift!
We moved into our house over 5 years ago, and I have wanted some sort of house painting since day one. I framed the original key along with a picture of us from closing day, but I always wanted something less focused on us, and more on the house. To be honest, it always sort of slipped my mind when it came to looking for someone to paint it as I was always thinking maybe we’d change something here or there. But this summer as we celebrated our fifth year I decided I was going to find the perfect person for the job. So I was beyond excited to collaborate with a super talented local artist to have our house done! Her house painting is so customized and perfectly depicts our precious first home together!
I first met Natalie Zoghgy through work and instantly loved her fun and quirky personality. She is an abstract artist, and truly believes that everyone can create beautify things. She spends her days teaching art classes to individuals with disabilities, and volunteers weekly with Arts in Medicine as well. Not to mention her monthly Paints & Pints classes at the local breweries! She is quite gifted and a genuinely lovely person!
So this Christmas as you prepare to buy gifts for our family, try thinking outside the box. This is the perfect gift for a family member or friend who just moved, or who has been in their house for ages. Not to mention – if you’re in the Birmingham area, you should totally have a girl’s night (or date night) at one of the Paints & Pints events.
